The Russell Group is pleased to announce that Alex Smith has joined the firm as Legislative Assistant. Alex will be responsible for monitoring legislative and regulatory developments and preparing policy communications for The Russell Group’s family of clients.

Alex was born and raised in Canadian, Texas, where he worked on a black angus cattle ranch and was involved in the local and state 4-H programs. He holds a degree in Agricultural Economics from Texas A&M University. Prior to joining the firm, Alex served as Government Relations Coordinator for CropLife America and interned for the USA Rice Federation.
